Wow! Take a look at R new website! In case U didn’t know...abcYouthConnect.com has been limping along since R website library was mysteriously wiped out-without warning last September. Yeah, after no success in retrieving R 1st YC web........only alternative-start from scratch. God as usual--blessing big time!

After of tons of prayers, we R relaunching again with God’s Blessing!

TEENS CHOOSE a HERO!

Teens stuffed the gym @ a Christian high school 2 experience quite a diffferent venue than the usual basketball and PE sports! The Theme “Heroes”! The atmosphere--Praise! The challenge-- Reality Ck! The Choice--JESUS!

4-Wheelin’ up the narrow, rocky dirt road--teens bouncin’ around this way and that! What’s the occasion? Birthday Celebration for a dear 87 year-old mountain woman! Of course, the celebration certainly had an unusual twist!

Beyond the birthday cake, punch and a “practical” gift of grey tennis shoes--just her size, teens pitched in to help around the lady’s humble abode. The Miss Mountain woman shares the mountain with her somewhat younger brother. Teens tended to the cattle, carried firewood and stacked wood piles on the front porch.

If you ever want to feel deep satisfaction and enormously blessed? Reach out and help one of the least! Jesus says, “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:40 NIV

Teens Divin In!

26 Brave teens splashed into a frigid cold mountain lake in a variety of ways! First of all--they were fully clothed, with no shoes. Depending on the courage level, the “DIVE” was accomplished mostly with a run and jump, canon ball style, or typical dives either by singles, doubles, triples or in groups of quads. Some joined hands for more support, others braved it alone. Some paced back and forth deliberating, others discussed the challenge all the way to the jump, and still others braced for the icy challenge, geared up to full speed and got it over with!

But one thing was for sure--many teens learned that the only way to really dive in the icy water and brace the chilly air with your wet clothes unbearably stuck to your skin--with out backin’ down was to run full force off the dock and jump in. Once airborne...there’s no turning back!
