We really do need God's help to get out of this. He is waiting for our call! We really need God in our lives to be worthwhile, for victory to be even possible. We might be able to climb so high on our own, but healing, deep heart-level healing happens when we let Him in.
The sad part is we still have our sinful natures until Jesus comes again, so it can be very easy to be overpowered the moment we take our eyes off of Him, as I learned. Does this mean hopelessness? We still sin, we fall down, get back up, repeat?
Thank you Lord, that the answer is absolutely not!
He has grace. His strength is made perfect through our weaknesses. It's not overnight, we may still slip, but the key is running back to Him when we know we messed up and need His amazing grace. READ MORE p3
