GRACE! AMAZING!
He has grace. His strength is made perfect through our weaknesses. It's not overnight, we may still slip, but the key is running back to Him when we know we messed up and need His amazing grace.
The verse that many of us probably learned as we learned how to walk, John 3:16, is packed with the most basic, but deepest and most beautiful hope.
For God so Loved the world
(you and me, in spite of what we do!),
that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whosoever believes in Him
will not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:16
God still forgives! Whether we deserve it or not, whether we mess up or not doesn't change the fact that Jesus died for us, loves us, and is there to pick us up again and take us higher than ever before.
It's real. It's heartbreaking to see that He went through so much for us, for me, knowing I'd still mess up. It's amazing.
Take care, as I am learning to do, Join me in prayer--that we don't let our eyes off of Him because of the bad life circumstances around us--even for a minute!
