I clicked on 2 of the offers and I expected the screen to say your laptop computer is in the mail.  But instead, it says--choose 2 more of the exciting offers below:

I clicked 2 more and guess what it asked me for? It asked me for my credit card number! 

Now, I began to think, if I have to give my credit card number, then obviously, my laptop computer isn’t free!  And so I exited out and I was a little bit annoyed--because for the first time, I saw the little star by the word free.  Which made it very clear--it wasn’t a free laptop computer at all.

I was annoyed and disappointed that i wouldn’t be receiving a free laptop computer.  So I began to work again and something strange happened!  Ads started popping up on the screen of my computer-but, I hadn’t clicked on any buttons.  I closed this box for the ad and continued to work.  That didn’t do any good.  Every 2 minutes another ad popped up on my screen.  So I began to wonder, where did they come from?

Well, I picked up the phone and I was about to dial the computer technician, but I hesitated-because if the computer technician came surely he would ask me how did this problem start?   Read more...
